IONSTORM 300

The ION STORM 300 ribbon tacking system is designed to improve the productivity of printing presses.
It applies an electrostatic charge on the moving ribbon in the folder. By charging the substrate with negative ions on one side, and positive on the other, the ribbons act as a single substrate eliminating the air cushion between them.

This results in eliminating “dog ears”, increasing production speed and preventing shifting within the ribbon after folding and cutting.
