IONSTORM 200 Mounting

The ION STORM 200 is easily installed on any press. The emitter bar must be mounted above the web of the first chill roll, immediately after the drying process. The gap between the emitter and chill roll surface must be between 0.75 and 1.5 inches (20-35mm) depending on max. web speed and substrate type. See Fig.1

Cover slides are necessary if minimum web width and maximum web width vary more than 30% from each other. 

The mounting brackets are attached to the machine frame on each side. Make sure that the emitter bar active width is specified correctly.
