The best location for an ionizing nozzle is usually just after the area where the static charge is being generated or just before where the problem is located. Our electrostatic Fieldmeter provides an easy way to
identify the static build up causing your specific problem. WSI’s AVALANCHE 20 ionizing nozzle system is easily mounted into any machine type. (Ask for custom-made solutions if space is a problem) Make sure to mount the
ionizing nozzle with a 0.5 – 3.0 in (12-75mm) gap to the substrate surface that needs to be discharged. See Fig.1
Mounting Example: Sheet Ionization The mounting brackets are attached to the frame of the machine above the substrate. The ionizing nozzles are placed
above the area where the substrate needs to be discharged. Rail configurations are custom made, please check specifications for size “L� and No. of nozzles. See Fig.2 |
