The HighVac Non-Contact Web Cleaner is specifically designed to provide cost-effective web cleaning by removing particles as small as 40 microns (sub visible) without any of the drawbacks of a contact cleaning system. Compared to conventional vacuum or air knife type cleaners, the HighVac Cleaning System utilizes much higher airflows and vacuums. A unique aerodynamic nozzle accelerates the vacuum air to 300+ mph. This high-velocity air partially disrupts the boundary layer and lifts particles off the web surface. The system does not induce any web flutter and hence possible substrate damage. This system is designed and ideally suited for cleaning film, paper or labels.
